If you’re looking for more than talk therapy, you’re in the right place.

I help individuals reclaim their stories, bodies, and souls through somatic therapy, parts work, mindfulness, self-compassion, and attachment theory.

I’m Kate Wright (she/her), LMSW, LICSW, a queer therapist and full spectrum doula. I specialize in working with queer individuals and partners moving through complex trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, depression, burnout, and chronic health issues.

My work is rooted in safety, connection, and re-centering. Together, we will cultivate a space for you to grow, heal, and deepen your understanding of yourself and the world around you.

If you have experienced trauma, chronic health issues, or any kind of disconnection from your Self, the idea of grounding more deeply into your body may feel overwhelming. That’s why I offer body-based healing through a trauma-informed lens.

Trauma informed care means that we recognize the impact of systemic and individual trauma on your body, mind, and soul.

We will take special care to avoid re-traumatization, while helping you develop safety in your body again – or maybe for the first time.

I am also trained as a doula, offering birth, postpartum, abortion, and miscarriage support, with a special focus on empowering LGBTQIA+ and nontraditional partners.

Are you ready to reach out and unsure of what happens next?

1) I will respond to your message via email with an introduction and encouragement to schedule a free 15-20 minute phone consultation, during which I will learn about you and your current needs. This is a time for us both to consider if we are a good fit.

2) If we decide it’s a good fit, we’ll schedule your first session. In addition to learning your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy, we’ll continue to ensure we’re a good fit throughout the first few sessions.
